In July, August and September we were very busy with dragon, martial arts and lion dance performances including our biggest production each year for Floriade. This year our production was called "Dragon Heart" and was a sequel to last years "Dragon High" Our students of the month of September were:
DRAGON - Jesse Lo. Put in a big effort for Floriade, the Vietnamese Moon Festival, Bruce Sports Medicine opening, training with Yau Kung Mun in Sydney and being the head for the lion for the Canberra Moon Festival.
LION - Lochlan Graf - consistent in class and held the fort for Floriade when many of our students were away due to family reasons. Acted as understudy and choreographer for others and ended up performing their parts anyway.
WOLF PACK - Asya Krepysheva. Joined the weekend classes and has flourished with wushu and has been helping as much as she can with performances such as a main role for Floriade, and performing at the Vietnamese Moon Festival and Canberra Moon Festival.
In June and July we had two combined martial arts and dragon dance performances. It was great teamwork to pull these off! On 24th June 2017 we performed at the FCCCI Chinese Language School as as guest act for their Multicultural Festival. And on 2nd July 2017 we were busking at the Old Bus Depot Markets in Kingston at their Multicultural Day. We are also looking forward to a private dragon dance performance at the University of Canberra on 5th July.
