In September weeks of practice culminated in our performance at Floriade with the Adventures of the Greedy Pig.  All our students put in extra efforts for this but the two which stood out were Claudia Sykes, who provided all the makeup and hairdos and Marek Leszczynski who displayed his great acting skills playing the role of the Greedy Pig.  Congratulations to Claudia and Marek for being the students of the month!

On Saturday 19th September our school held our annual demonstration for Floriade on Stage 88 in Commonwealth Park in Canberra.  This year we held a joint performance with Prosperous Mountain Lion Dance who kindly drummed up a big crowd for us.  Their lions were also involved in the story and in the fighting action and their performers also displayed their new self defence skills alongside  our students.  It was a collaboration which worked well and we hope that there are more in the future.  Please have a look at our facebook page for more photos.
